VANCOUVER -- World No. 6 Milos Raonic will kick off Canada's Davis Cup tie against Japan tomorrow with a singles match against Tatsuma Ito.

The draw for this weekend's World Group matchup was held today at the University of British Columbia, where the best-of-five contest will take place.

Vasek Pospisil will take on world No. 4 Kei Nishikori in tomorrow's second match.

Pospisil and Daniel Nestor will team up against Go Soeda and Yasutaka Uchiyama in Saturday's doubles match, while Sunday's singles will feature Raonic versus Nishikori followed by Pospisil versus Ito.

Canada can advance to the World Group quarter-finals with a victory, but a loss would force the Canadians to win a playoff tie in order to maintain their spot among the world tennis elite for next year.
