GLASGOW -- Canada's Scott Morgan and Ellie Black have each won gymnastics gold at the Commonwealth Games.

Morgan, a 25-year-old from North Vancouver, B.C., won the men's vault with a score 14.733 points for the victory. He now has two gold medals and one silver at the Games.

Kristian Thomas of England won the silver with 14.499. Singapore's Wah Toon Hoe was the bronze medallist with 14.195.

Black, an 18-year-old from Halifax, captured gold in the women's balance beam with a score of 14.900.

She now has a gold and a silver in Glasgow.

Mary Anne Monckton of Australia won the silver with 13.666, while Georgina Hockenhull claimed the bronze with 13.466.
