People are searching for a male suspect after a woman was allegedly dragged into a laneway and sexually assaulted overnight.
According to police, a woman was walking westbound on Dufferin Street, in the Rogers Road area, when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. She was then sexually assaulted, police allege.
The man, who fled the scene, is being described as east Indian, in his mid-20s, 5’5” – 5’6”, with a slight beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a black, zippered hooded sweater with white drawstrings, black T-shirt and black baggy jeans.
Police classify a sexual assault as any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
