Toronto Paramedics say two occupants of a vehicle were seriously hurt when the car struck a pole in the Humber Bay area of Etobicoke on Saturday night.
Police said they were called to the intersection of The Queensway and Park Lawn Road sometime before 11 p.m. for a report of a vehicle into a pole.
Upon arrival, paramedics said they found two patients stuck inside the vehicle.
Both suffered serious injuries and were to be rushed to a hospital trauma centre once they could be freed from their vehicle.
Police closed the northbound lanes of Park Lawn Road between Lakeshore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway to allow access for emergency crews.
