Two men have been arrested in connection with the beating death of a 40-year-old man in Toronto's west end last month.

Jorge Interiano was found by police shortly after 2:30 a.m. at Bloor Street West and Concord Avenue, just west of Ossington Avenue, on Aug. 30.

Interiano was out celebrating his birthday when he was severely beaten, police said.

He was found without vital signs, and was pronounced dead in hospital.

At the time, police said they were looking for two male suspects believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. The men were seen fleeing on foot at the time of the beating.

A full month after the incident, police said that two suspects had been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

The Toronto men, aged 29 and 22, are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-7400, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
