TORONTO - Andres Blanco's double in the fifth inning scored the winning run as the Philadelphia Phillies held on for a 3-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night.

Rookie Adam Morgan (2-2) earned the win for Philadelphia (38-63), striking out two and giving up two runs over six innings of work. Jeanmar Gomez and Luis Garcia each pitched a scoreless inning for the Phillies before Ken Giles earned his first save of the season.

Philadelphia has won five straight.

Second baseman Devon Travis hit a home run for Toronto (50-51), which has lost back-to-back games to fall beneath .500. Felix Doubront (1-1) pitched four innings, giving up three runs and striking out three. Ryan Tepera, LaTroy Hawkins, Brett Cecil and Liam Hendriks all came in from the bullpen, combining for five innings of scoreless relief.

Travis and right-fielder Jose Bautista both left the game early with injuries.

Travis was taken out with irritation in his left shoulder between the second and third innings, while Bautista pulled up lame while running out a groundball to first in the eighth inning.

The Blue Jays' lineup was in flux after shortstop Jose Reyes, reliever Miguel Castro and minor-league pitchers Jeff Hoffman and Jesus Tinoco were traded to the Colorado Rockies for shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and Hawkins earlier in the day.

Hawkins joined the Blue Jays on Tuesday afternoon, but Tulowitzki remained in the United States while he resettled his family.

Travis took over the leadoff role with Reyes on his way to Colorado. He was clearly comfortable at the top of Toronto's batting order, hitting a home run to left field in the Blue Jays' first at bat of the game. It was Travis's eighth homer of the season and first since May 3.

Toronto added to its lead in the second when Ryan Goins's sacrifice fly brought home Russell Martin for a 2-0 lead.

Travis struck out to end the second and was then removed from the game with irritation in his left shoulder. Danny Valencia moved from left field to second base, while Ezequiel Carrera took over in the outfield.

Cody Asche tied it 2-2 for Philadelphia in the fifth with a double over Bautista's head in right field. That cashed in Ryan Howard and Darin Ruf from second and third base, respectively.

Blanco gave the Phillies a 3-2 lead in the next at bat, scoring Asche on a double up the left-field line.

Howard had reached base to start the fifth inning on what appeared to be a foul ball. The ball looked as though it bounced off Howard's thigh and hit the dirt inside the batter's box before bouncing into fair territory.

Bautista came out of the game after grounding out to short in the eighth inning. He stopped running as Blanco fielded the ball, clutching his right hamstring and hobbling back to the Toronto dugout.

Valencia moved back to left field, while Carrerra assumed Bautista's spot in right. Martin moved to second base and Dioner Navarro came off the bench to close out the game behind the plate.
