GEORGINA, Ont. - Police say a 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his father in Georgina last year.
York Regional Police say William Kennedy has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 11 years.
Officers found 58-year-old Brad Kennedy dead in a home in the town on the shore of Lake Simcoe on Feb. 19, 2014.
His son was arrested at the scene.
