A man found without vital signs outside an apartment building in Brampton is now in intensive care in hospital.
The man was found in the snow along a pathway to a parking lot outside 15 Eastbourne Dr. at approximately 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Peel Regional Police.
Emergency responders worked quickly to try to warm the man’s body. He is in the intensive care unit at an undisclosed hospital.
Police have identified the man as a 38-year-old but will not be releasing his name at this time.
Investigators say they don’t know what may have happened to the man, though it’s possible that he suffered a medical problem and then passed out. The cold may also be a factor, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area Tuesday morning to contact them.
