A man has been pronounced dead after being struck by a vehicle in the city’s Nortown area.
The man was struck on Avenue Road near Felbrigg Avenue at around 8:40 p.m.
He was pronounced dead a short time later, Toronto Paramedic Services said.
Toronto police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
A stretch of the road is expected to remain closed as police investigate.
