A 40-year-old Toronto man died Saturday night after being severely beaten on the street in the city’s west end overnight.

Police say the attack happened near Concord Avenue, which is located near Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue, at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. 

The man was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to police, two male suspects were seen fleeing the area. They are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Police are treating the death as a homicide.
