A 17-year-old girl is in hospital in serious condition after being struck by a car early Saturday.
The girl was struck while crossing the street with friends, according to reports from the scene.
The incident happened just after 1:00 a.m. near Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue.
The girl was taken to Sunnybrook hospital and is in serious condition, according to police.
Officers said the vehicle stayed at the scene for the investigation, and they don’t anticipate laying charges.
Police temporarily closed the road while examining the scene, but it was open again as of 6 a.m.
