Police have set up a command post as they search for a 33-year-old man who never returned after going for a walk on Sunday morning.

According to police, Mark Lorenzoni left his home in the area of Major Mackenzie Drive and Islington Avenue, to go for a walk around 8 a.m. on Sunday. He never returned.

Investigators say they believe Lorenzoni may have gotten lost while walking and is unlikely to ask for help or directions.

Lorenzoni is described as a white, 5’8”, 140 pounds, with short dark-brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved grey-and-orange shirt, black sweatpants and brown shoes.

He walks with one of his arms tucked into his body, according to police.
