Traffic on the westbound Highway 401 lanes, between Meadowvale Road and Warden Avenue is moving slowly this morning. If you are heading downtown on the Don Valley Parkway, be prepared for a slow drive between Finch Avenue East and Eglinton Avenue East. There are also delays heading south on the Highway 400, between Sheppard Avenue West and the Highway 401.

Doug Ford launches attack ad campaign

Two ads funded by Doug Ford's election campaign are hoping to turn voters' attention to his rivals' past failures.

The ads, which started airing on Toronto radio stations Tuesday morning, call attention to John Tory's past ballot-box defeats and describe the mayoral candidate's transit plan as "shaky."

Woman fatally struck by streetcar

An unidentified female pedestrian was killed after being struck by a streetcar on St. Clair Avenue on Tuesday.

The woman suffered a severe head wound when she was hit by the eastbound vehicle shortly after 4 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
