A 75-year-old man is dead and a woman is injured after a single-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Keele on Sunday.
The OPP say that the incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was driving the vehicle.
According to Toronto Paramedic Services, a woman in her mid-40s was taken to hospital with traumatic injuries.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
The 401’s westbound express lanes were closed at Allen Road for a police investigation, but they have since re-opened.
