The bodies of a missing woman and teen have been found in the woods outside Orangeville, Ont., police said on Saturday.

Orangeville police said foul play was not suspected, nor did they believe there was a connection to the recent high profile slaying of another area woman.

Jeanie Blanchette, 21, of Orangeville, and Chantal Dube, 17, from the nearby Melancthon Township, were reported missing on Tuesday.

Ontario Provincial Police believed the two were travelling together and appealed for help from anyone who knew where the two may be heading.

The bodies were found late Friday afternoon in a wooded area near the town of 29,000. They have been taken to the Ontario Chief Coroner's officer for autopsies.

Last month, the body of a 42-year-old nurse was discovered in the woods outside Orangeville. The search for her killer continues.

"Investigators from the Orangeville Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police do not believe that the deaths of these two young women are associated to any ongoing police investigations being conducted at this time and foul play is not suspected," Orangeville Police said in a media release.
