A man has sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the leg Wednesday evening.
Police received a call at 6:45 p.m. about shots being fired at 2901 Jane St., near the intersection of Jane Street and Finch Avenue.
Officers found the victim at the scene, conscious and breathing.
Police are searching for the suspect, who was last seen running into nearby Firgrove Park.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’11’, with a skinny build and wearing dark clothing.
