A man found lying unconscious in a Scarborough street more than a week ago has died in hospital.

The 59-year-old was found on Milldock Drive, a residential street near Lawrence Avenue and Rouge Hill Drive, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 28.

He was found lying at the foot of a driveway, and was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Monday, police confirmed that the man had died in hospital over the weekend.

Few details of the incident are known, but police said a "medical investigation" determined that the man had been hit by a vehicle.

Investigators are asking for any video recordings of the area on Jan. 28, between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
