A man was to appear in court Tuesday charged with a number of sexual assault-related offices in the downtown area.

The Toronto Police Service said Monday that the charges stem from the following incidents:

  • March 15 - A man approached at young woman at 45 Carlton St. and sexually assaulted her
  • March 10 - A man got off a TTC subway rain at Sherbourne station, approached a 27-year-old woman, had a brief conversation then allegedly sexually assaulted her inside the station
  • Feb. 2 - A man walked into Rosedale Valley Heights School of the Arts and allegedly sexually assaulted two 16-year-old students.

On Monday, police arrested Babak Rahimzadeh, 45, of no fixed address.

"Police believe there may be more victims," the service said Monday in a news release.
