BARRIE, Ont. -- A 25-year-old Barrie man is facing mischief and property damage charges after an investigation into windows being smashed at Barrie city hall.

Police say four large plate glass windows were smashed on Sept. 14, with damage exceeding $10,000.

A suspect was arrested Saturday evening.

He was charged with mischief and damaging property over $5,000.

The man was released with a court date next month.

He must stay away from city hall.
