ELLIOT LAKE, Ont. -- A man in Elliot Lake, Ont., has been charged after police say he asked a 12-year-old boy to perform a sex act.
Police say the man approached the boy on May 20 and asked him several questions of a sexual nature.
They say the man then invited the boy to his home to carry out a sexual act, but the child ran away and alerted police.
Thomas Victor Sutherland, 63, is charged with invitation to sexual touching.
He is due in court Thursday.
