Peel Regional Police say they have seized a loaded handgun and quantities of cocaine and crystal meth after executing search warrants in Brampton.

On Monday, police say officers from the street gang crime unit carried out search warrants for a vehicle and residence on Church Street East in Brampton.

The search allegedly produced a loaded .45 calibre semi-automatic handgun as well as unknown quantities of cocaine and crystal meth.

Four people – three men and one woman – were arrested and charged.

Suspects identified as James Leon Malcon-Evans, 28, Jameel Mark, 22, Rebecca Larmour, 21, and Jason Daley, 23, all of Brampton, face a number of drug and firearm-related offences.

They appeared in court for a bail hearing on Monday.
