Billed as Canada's largest indoor obstacle course, recently opened Pursuit OCR in west-end Toronto offers nearly 1,000-square-metres of fitness fun for adults.

The large space, which features a ball pit among other recess-like activities, offers 19 different challenges designed for adults. The course has options for participants of all fitness and skill levels.

"This is about a playground environment, putting recess back into your work week," owner Wil McLean told CTV Toronto on Thursday. "The idea that you can be laughing your way through your workout and not even realize that you’re working out."

Participants must be at least 18 years old to take part. Those who are between 12- and 17-years-old can check out the space with the signature of a legal guardian during drop-in hours on Tuesday. For children 11 years old and under, they can visit Pursuit OCR on Sundays during the facility's family play days.

Pursuit OCR is located at 444 Dufferin St., north of Queen Street West.
