TORONTO - Toronto FC has made an offer for Honduran striker Romell Quioto, according to a Honduran newspaper.

Dario Diez quoted the president of Honduran club Vida saying the MLS team wants his 21-year-old winger.

Toronto has also been linked to Vida midfielder Arnold Peralta, former captain of the Honduran under-23 team.

Asked about Peralta, Toronto FC president and GM Kevin Payne said Thursday that the deal was not dead yet.

Payne added he expected four signings in the days to come.

The team's focus is on attacking players from Central and South America, he said.
