Peel region police are investigating a suspicious death after residents of an apartment building near Mississauga Valley Park reported hearing an explosion at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday.
Fire crews, hazardous material and bomb disposal teams were on the scene at 1547 Mississauga Valley Road Sunday morning to assist with the investigation.
Authorities say the investigation is not considered a homicide at this point.
Police have not released information about the victim.
