Police in Hamilton, Ont. are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 48-year-old man wanted for the second-degree murder of his cousin.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday on Jackson Street West near Caroline Street.
The victim, identified by police as Joseph Colson, was rushed to hospital where he later died.
Police have not yet determined a motive for the murder.
Investigators have issued a warrant for Colson’s cousin, Gary Michael White, of no fixed address.
On Sunday, police released a photo of the 48-year-old suspect, who was last seen in the area of Main Street East and Kenilworth Avenue at around 9 p.m. on Friday.
White is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
