HAMILTON, Ont. -- Hamilton police are appealing to the public for information to help locate a man wanted in alleged child sexual abuse incidents that date back more than 20 years.
Charles Peter Billone, 53, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Police say they have been looking for Billone since 1991, when he failed to re-attend court after being released on a recognizance.
They say he may have assumed another identity to evade capture and may be living outside Ontario, perhaps in Manitoba or New Brunswick, where he has family connections.
Billone is described as white, five feet seven inches tall and 150 pounds with a skinny build, and when last seen had tattoos on both arms, including a cross on his right arm.
