Grey Cup festivities continue across the city as Toronto hosts thousands of CFL fans ahead of Sunday’s big game. And that means road closures.

Police are urging residents to avoid driving downtown and use public transit whenever possible this weekend.

Here is a list of the closures:

  • Front Street closed between University Avenue and John Street until Monday at 5 a.m.
  • Front Street between John Street and Blue Jays Way restricted to local traffic only until Monday at 5 a.m.
  • John Street closed between Wellington Street and Front Street until Monday at 5 a.m.
  • Simcoe Street closed between Wellington Street and Station Street until Monday at 5 a.m.

A number of rolling road closures are also expected during Sunday’s CFL Fan March, which will take the Grey Cup itself from Varsity Stadium to Rogers Centre. That event will close streets downtown between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The parade begins at Varsity Stadium near Bloor Street West and Devonshire Place. It will then travel east on Bloor Street, then turn south on Yonge Street.

It will then turn west at Queen Street, south on York Street, west on King Street, south on University Avenue and west on Front Street before arriving at the Rogers Centre.
