A 25-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder and forcible confinement in connection with the death of a man found behind an arena in 2012.

The body of George Fawell was found next to the train tracks behind Jimmie Simpson arena on Queen Street East near Broadview Avenue on Aug. 24, 2012.

Mauro "Cruz" Grenados-Arana was arrested Monday morning in connection with Fawell's death, just days after another suspect was tracked down in Alberta.

On Friday, 52-year-old Michael Martins was arrested in Medicine Hat during the execution of Canada-wide warrant. Martins, who is accused of aggravated assault and forcible confinement in Fawell's death, is expected to arrive in Toronto Monday night.

In total, five people have been arrested in connection to Fawell's death.

Wayne Estwick, 26, was arrested last week, and Lori Ann Crook and Ashley Andrews were arrested last year.
