The Fire Marshal's Office has been called in Wednesday to investigate an overnight fire that destroyed a west-end auto collision centre.
According to reports, the blaze started at T and D Auto Collision on Taber Road in the Martin Grove Road and Rexdale Boulevard area of Etobicoke at about 2:00 am.
The fire crew's initial attempts to bring the blaze under control was hampered by small explosions caused by propane tanks, which could be heard exploding and then seen flying through the air.
No injuries were reported and the blaze is under investigation.
A cause has not yet been determined.
