A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after her vehicle collided with a TTC bus in the city’s west end.
It happened on Royal York Road near Lake Shore Boulevard at around 10:30 a.m.
According to police, the woman was behind the wheel of the vehicle and ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed before crashing into the stationary bus.
She suffered multiple lower body fractures as a result.
Nobody else was injured in the accident.
Traffic Services is investigating.
Royal York road is closed at Hillside Avenue.
