The Toronto-raised rapper unleashed four new tracks on Sunday, a day before his milestone celebration. He also revealed plans for "More Life," an album of new material due in December.

"I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life," Drake told listeners of his OVO Sound radio show on Sunday.

"All original music from me."

He then played three songs -- "Two Birds One Stone," "Sneakin,"' and "Fake Love" -- and a previously unreleased remix of Santan Dave's "Wanna Know" on the program he hosts on the Apple Music streaming service.

Some fans had expected Drake would deliver something fresh by the end of the year, encouraged by hints that something was in the works.

Drake's album "Views," which dominated radio over the summer with hits like "One Dance," remains in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 charts for its 24th week. A few of the album's tracks are still among the most streamed on Spotify.

Sidelined by an ankle injury earlier this month, which forced him to scrap the final three dates of his North American tour, Drake will embark on a 26-show European jaunt in January.
