Crews have freed an elderly man who had his foot stuck between some rocks at the Scarborough Bluffs since yesterday.
Firefighters were called to the Scarborough Bluffs at around 8 a.m. after receiving reports that the man was stuck in shallow water west of the marina.
According to Toronto Fire Captain Adrian Ratushniak the man had been trapped since sometime yesterday.
A Toronto police Marine Unit boat was sent to the scene to rescue the man.
His injuries are believed to be minor, according to paramedics.
