A 49-year-old man has been charged after a teenaged boy was sexually assaulted at a store in Etobicoke.
Police allege a man, who operated a convenient store in the Royal York Road and Mimico Avenue area, befriended a 13-year-old boy.
The boy frequently spent time at the store, according to investigators. On one of his visits, police said the boy was sexually assaulted.
On Nov. 21, a suspect identified as Toronto resident Habibullah Prodhan, also known as Habib, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 22.
