A male construction worker in his 50s has been transported to hospital with serious injuries after he was crushed by a 2,000-lb piece of concrete Monday afternoon.
EMS says the man suffered injuries to his torso and ribs. The incident happened in the Birchmount Road and Enterprise Boulevard area in Markham, Ont.
He was being transported to Toronto's Sunnybrook hospital.
