CLARINGTON, Ont. - A 64-year-old Clarington, Ont., man is facing charges after police say he set fire to his house trailer and threatened to burn down a nearby home.
Police say the man was being evicted from the property where both the trailer and home are located.
They say firefighters had warned him earlier Monday about a garbage fire at the same address.
Police say when firefighters tried to speak with the suspect, he pulled up his shirt to show two knives tucked into his pants.
The man has been charged with arson, uttering threats and possession of weapons dangerous.
