A child is injured after a woman walking with a stroller was struck by a vehicle on Saturday in the Harbourfront area.

The incident occurred just after 12:15 p.m. at Queens Quay and Lower Simcoe Street. A vehicle struck a woman pushing a male child in a stroller, Toronto Paramedics said.

The child was bleeding from the mouth, according to the paramedics.

They did not say whether the woman suffered any injuries.

Queens Quay was closed in both directions due to the incident.

By 1 p.m., westbound and eastbound lanes were reopened.
