Toronto firefighters say no one was injured after chemical-filled drums caught fire at a Scarborough metal-finishing business.
Fire crews responded to a call about a fire near Finch Avenue East and Torham Place about approximately 1:20 p.m. on Sunday.
The fire originated in some drums containing an unknown chemical, Toronto Fire Capt. Stephan Powell said.
Firefighters involved in putting out the fire were give hazmat gear as a precaution.
The building was evacuated, allowing the smoke to clear.
