HALTON HILLS, Ont. - Charges have been laid after two bear-spray attacks in Halton Hills, Ont.

Police say a victim first met two teenagers in a park to conduct an alleged drug transaction which escalated into a physical confrontation, during which bear spray was used.

Police say one of the teen suspects later went to the victim's home with two young men and began to damage the victim's car.

When the victim and a family member tried to stop them, the teen suspect once again used bear spray, leaving the victims with minor injuries.

A 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy of Halton Hills are both charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and assault with a weapon for their role in the first attack.

The 17-year-old is additionally charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and mischief for his role in the second incident.
