To celebrate World Cat Day, Toronto animal shelters are offering two-for-one adoptions on cats and kittens beginning on Wednesday.
Coun. Glenn De Baeremaeker will officially launch the event, to run through Aug. 15, with a press conference Wednesday morning.
According to a press release, “World Cat Day is a celebration of the love and companionship that cats provide to people.”
Of course, according to cats, every day is World Cat Day.
