TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays signed Canadian left-hander Andrew Albers to a minor-league contract Friday with an invitation to attend major-league spring training.

The 29-year-old native of North Battleford, Sask., pitched last season with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korean Baseball organization.

Albers had a 2-5 record and 4.05 earned-run average in 10 starts with the Minnesota Twins in 2013.

Also Friday, the Blue Jays released a list of appointments for their minor-league affiliate staffs.

The 2015 managerial list includes Gary Allenson at triple-A Buffalo, Bobby Meacham at double-A New Hampshire, Omar Malava at high-A Dunedin, Ken Huckaby at low-A Lansing, John Schneider at Vancouver (short season), Dennis Holmberg at Bluefield (rookie advanced), Cesar Martin at Gulf Coast (rookie) and Jose Mateo at Dominican Summer League (rookie).
