Toronto police are investigating a number of shootings that took place in the city on Sunday.

Late Sunday afternoon, police were called to a basketball court off of Driftwood Avenue, in the Jane and Finch area, after a teen was shot and seriously wounded.

There are reports the 18-year-old man was shot in the eye.

An ambulance was called and the victim was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital.

Police are combing the area for two suspects that were seen running east from the scene. They are focusing their search on a nearby townhouse complex.

It is the third time in recent months someone has been shot in that location.

Meanwhile, Toronto police had their hands full with two other shootings.

During the early morning hours, the Emergency Task Force raided a limousine bus believed to be connected with a shooting that took place just down the street from a police station.

Up to seven shots were fired from two guns at around 4 a.m. on Dundas Street near University Avenue. One man was shot in the leg. Police say he was an innocent bystander.

Police believe the shooting may have been sparked by an argument inside a local restaurant.

Nobody was arrested during the raid but investigators want to speak with a cabbie who they believe drove the shooting victim to hospital.

At around 1:30 a.m., a robbery in Don Mills turned violent.

Police were called to Flemingdon Park, near Grenoble Drive and Vendome Place after neighbours heard shots.

While authorities found a number of shell casings on the scene and identified property damaged by bullet holes, they failed to turn up a victim.

Homicide investigators were also busy with a domestic incident in Etobicoke that left an elderly man dead. A suspect has been arrested in the case.
