A doctor has been charged after a woman said she was sexually assaulted at a downtown health centre during a treatment.

Police say the alleged incident took place on Sept. 6 when the 48-year-old woman attended a doctor’s office on 200 Bay Street, near Front Street West.

The woman told police that she was sexually assaulted while the doctor was conducting some sort of medical treatment.

Police said a suspect was arrested on Sept. 8.

Khaled Hasan, 33, of Mississauga, has been charged with sexual assault.

The charge has not been proven in court.
