Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a donation box belonging to Sick Kids Hospital that was stolen early in the month.
Police were able to arrest the suspect Saturday, after a security video camera caught a female stealing the donation box from a UPS Store on Sept. 19.
After watching the video footage, employees were able to help identify the woman.
The suspect had come into the store to pick up a package and flashed her ID, including her name, address and phone number to employees. Police estimate there was roughly $200 in the box.
Michelle Wisdom was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of cocaine.
Wisdom appeared in court Sunday afternoon and she was released on $500 bail.
