A 40-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly surreptitiously recorded a woman in a changing room stall at the Fairview Mall on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the woman was in the stall at around 12 p.m. when she looked down and saw that a man’s foot was stretched under the space between the door and the floor.

At this point, police say the woman noticed that a cell phone was tucked into the sock of the man’s extended foot and that she was being recorded as she undressed.

The woman then exited the stall and confronted the man, police say. She then left the store but reported the incident to police the following day.

Stephen Ho, 40, of Toronto, was arrested on Thursday and charged with secretly observing/recording a person expecting privacy.

Police say there could be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
