For the second time, a car has smashed through a construction fence and ended up in a hole outside Union Station.
The collision occurred shortly before 7 p.m. when a silver four-door Audi drove through a barrier and into the construction zone, just off Front Street.
A witness told CP24 that the car appeared to be cut off by another vehicle before it hopped the curb and ended up in the hole.
The car came to a stop, front bumper down, in a pile of concrete debris.
Two women were in the car and both were able to walk out of the vehicle unharmed, a witness said.
Minor injuries were reported.
By 8 p.m. emergency crews were hooking the car up to a crane to pull it out of the hole. They had the car out by 9 p.m.
This incident comes after a similar one on June 26, when a man allegedly tried to evade police who wanted to pull him over and ended up driving his BMW into the same hole.
That man was charged with dangerous driving.
