Air Canada Centre staff are set to return to work after a deal was reached to end a weeklong strike, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment said Saturday.

Approximately 600 workers, including housekeeping staff and those responsible for converting the hard court to ice, walked off the job last week after voting down their latest contract offer.

They are represented by Teamsters Local 847.

Maple Leafs and Raptors games were unaffected, but Air Canada Centre restaurants Real Sports Bar and Grill and E11even were closed as a result of the job action.

Real Sports will reopen Sunday, while patrons can return to E11even on Monday, MLSE said.

Negotiations between the company and the union had been going on for six months before the labour disruption.
