Get outside and enjoy the weather before the sun sets, as Environment Canada says there is a 30 per cent chance of flurries later tonight. The daytime high is expected to be 4 C, and temperatures will drop to a low of -3 C Wednesday night.

TRAFFIC

Morning traffic is building along the Gardiner Expressway eastbound from Royal York Road to Strachan Avenue, and westbound from Bay Street to Strachan.

Further north, commuters are moving slowly along the westbound Highway 401 from Meadowvale Road to Bayview Avenue. Eastbound, traffic is slow from Highway 403 to Keele Street.

Heading south, Highways 427, 400 and 404 are congested from Sheppard Avenue down to the 401. The Don Valley Parkway is slow in both directions between the 401 and Don Mills Road

Thousands of protesters gathered outside the U.S. consulate last night to hold a vigil for Michael Brown. The black teenager was shot by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., in August.

Eaton Centre shooter faces cross-examination

Christopher Husbands, the man who opened fire at the Eaton Centre food court, faces cross-examination later today. On Tuesday, he told the court that he believed he was about to die just before he started shooting in the busy mall in June 2012. He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are in Pennsylvania tonight where they will play the Pittsburgh Penguins. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Toronto Raptors are also on the road today. They will challenge the Atlanta Hawks at the Philips Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET.
