The first day of school is likely going to be wet and soggy as Environment Canada says there is a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and afternoon. The daytime high is expected to be 24 C, and will drop to a low of 13 C Tuesday night.

Hit-and-run suspect to turn themselves in
Police say the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision over the weekend is expected to turn themselves in today. Munyaradzi Sithole was fatally struck early Saturday morning in the St. Clair Avenue West and Symes Road area. The 31-year-old moved to Canada from Zimbabwe approximately 10 years ago. A fundraiser has been created to help cover the cost of sending his body back to Zimbabwe for a funeral.
