Search for drowned man continues

A search for a man who drowned in the Otonabee River, near Millennium Park in Peterborough, Ont., Wednesday afternoon is expected to continue today. Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service says the man disappeared while swimming in the river at approximately 2 p.m. Police say he was swimming with his girlfriend when he went under.

It will be quiet day for sports fans today as all of Toronto's professional teams are taking a break. Jays action will resume on Friday when they take on the Tampa Bay Rays at the Rogers Centre.

BuskerFest

Toronto's Yonge Street will spring to life when the annual BuskerFest kicks off today. Performers will be showing off their skills starting at noon, from Queen Street West to College Street.

Where: Yonge Street, between Queen Street West and College Street; Yonge-Dundas Square; Trinity Square Park; and Gould Street near Ryerson University.
