Toronto firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire at a home in the city’s west end early Saturday morning.

Toronto Fire Capt. Mike Strapko said the blaze broke out at 47 Callender St. in the area of Queen Street West and Roncesvalles Avenue.

A man walking his dog alerted fire crews after seeing smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the house, Strapko said.

Twelve fire trucks and 45 firefighters were at the scene. Strapko said the main body of the fire was knocked down at approximately 1:30 a.m.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
